During the 1950s, a much more minimalistic approach to design became very popular. Home furnishing designers began using more straightforward, clean designs with simplicity and functionality. 

New designs incorporated strong, geometric forms, clean lines, and primary colors, quite different from the ornamental and more decorative designs of prior periods. These design elements have found their way into a collection of clocks by Hermle. 

Retro Clock designs are becoming more popular. Hermle took some of their original mid-century designs into some of their new offerings. 

Introducing the Finn retro Quartz table clock. Mid-Century Design elements create the classic Retro look from the early 60s. The solid wood Trapezoidal body is elevated with four matching legs. The accurate Quartz movement is powered by one “AA” battery.

Hermle has also introduced the Margo Light Cherry Retro table clock. The solid wood Trapezoidal body is elevated with four matching legs in a light cherry finish.
