Grandfather Clocks Made in USA
In a day where so many consumer products are built in China, most of our grandfather clocks are made in the USA. The Howard Miller grandfather clocks are built in an old Dutch settlement on the Michigan shore in the small town of Zeeland, MI near Holland, MI. Grandfather clocks have been handcrafted here for over 80 years. American hardwoods are used for the case construction and the movements are built by Kieninger in Germany which is now American owned by the Howard Miller clock company.
Computer controlled cutting assures that each case part is identical to the next. Real lacquer finishes are hand applied to each case instead of using urethanes. Lacquer finishes are warmer than urethane and look much better on a finished grandfather clock.
Designs range from a traditional American split-pediment design to newer styled contemporary designs. The designs used for these American built grandfather clocks are also drawn by Howard Miller.
The Clock Depot is proud to represent these clocks and are shipped to our customers with free shipping anywhere in the contiguous United States. These grandfather clocks are regulated at the factory and should not require adjustment. Setup is designed for the novice without any prior knowledge of the clocks. Setup only takes about 15 minutes and no tools are required.
