Howard Miller Quartz Clock With Rotating Pendulum And Hourly Melody

NOTE: There are TWO battery compartments located on both the back and bottom of the clock.
Refer to Figure 1- Back of Clock
- Remove the cover from the back of the clock case.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Install a fresh “AA” alkaline battery in the battery holder
according to the diagram inside of the holder - Turn the Time Set Button on the back of the movement to
set the hands to the correct time.
ACTIVATING THE MELODY-
Refer to Figure 2- Bottom of Clock
- Remove the battery cover from the bottom of the clock.
- Install two fresh “C” size alkaline batteries according to the
diagram inside of the holder.
- Slide the ON/OFF Switch to the “ON” position.
- Press the Monitor Button to hear the melody.
- Turn the Volume Button to adjust the melody to desired
- The melody will play every hour on the hour when the
switch is in the “ON” position.

- Install a fresh “AA” alkaline battery
according to the diagram inside of the
holder for the pendulum, located on
the bottom ofthe clock. - Slide the Pendulum Lever on the
pendulum movement in either
direction to the “Start” position. - Turn the clock over and the
pendulum should start to turn on its

push in either direction to get it
started.

If the clock stops, begins to loose time, the pendulum stops, or the melody becomes weak or erratic, it is usually the indication of weak or exhausted batteries and the batteries should be replaced.
